Originated as a witch's broom on a Schwerin's Pine, which is a hybrid of Pinus strobus (Eastern White pine) and Pinus wallichiana (Himalayan pine).
A pine with unique visual appeal creating a striking landscape element wherever it is used. This pine is naturally an erratic grower. Pinching the candles mid-spring will encourage a more compact form.
